Lectio Divina
Currently, we are practicing the gift of Lectio Divina. This is a slow reading of scripture or prayers. The text is read three times.
1. Read the text and take a few moments to meditate on the text. We call this "sit with it."
2. Read again, then pick out words or phrases that stick out to you. Perhaps they profoundly strike you.
3. Read again, discuss, or journal about what the scripture or prayer is speaking to you or calling you to do.
